Happy New Year, everyone!

Just wanted to give a quick update on my health status. Chronic fatigue syndrome, Chronic Recurring Epstein Barr Virus, Adrenal Fatigue, IBS, and gastritis have been my official diagnosis. The road to recovery has been a long one, with a lot of ups and downs. There are good days and bad days, and it can be very unpredictable. I’ve also learned the hard way that pushing myself too much too soon can have debilitating effects; about a month ago after a period of time where I seemed to be feeling better, I decided to give a try to getting back in the gym and starting up my workout routine again. Well, that proved to be a very bad idea, as it triggered a relapse that I’m still recovering from.

I’ve learned that it’s going to have to be baby steps to heal my body from these conditions, and to not get impatient and try to do too much too soon. So, for this reason I will not be opening back up for business for the foreseeable future.

But, the good news is I’m using this time to study many new areas of treatment and deepen my studies in current modalities, including hypnotherapy, Thai Ayurveda, spiritual healing, breath work, chakra balancing, flower remedies, coaching, EFT, past life regression, and ministerial studies. My goal is to move beyond just massage therapy into a holistic, spiritual healing practice. Of course I will always love and continue to offer therapeutic massage, but I know the Lord has a larger calling for me, and this time off is meant for me to pursue the education needed to fulfill my Highest Purpose.
